Among the streets of Ripatransone's center, we can find an example of the many treasures the city has to offer. It is the narrowest alley in Italy, located in the Roflano neighborhood, so small it doesn't even have a name. A tourist sign, adjacent to the alley itself, claims its primacy. Speaking of numbers, the alley is 43 cm wide at the height of an average man's shoulders and, higher up, tends to narrow to 38 cm; it meets all the requirements to be considered an "alley": it is paved, passable, and has at least one door or window (in our case). Many other Italian cities have attempted to rival the numbers of Ripatransone's alley, but without success, so much so that it has earned its own place in the Guinness Book of Records.
