In the Agello district stands Palazzo Bonomi-Gera, an elegant 17th-century noble residence designed by Luzio Bonomi and restored by Uno Gera in the 1960s. Donated to the Municipality in 1971, since 1977 it has housed the Pinacoteca Civica, the Uno Gera Plaster Cast Gallery, and a rich museum complex showcasing art, history, and ethnography. The palace's sober style, with a brick façade and sandstone portal surmounted by a small balcony, now houses approximately 1,000 works by over 70 artists from the 15th to the 20th century. Among the most notable pieces are seven panels by Vittore Crivelli, frescoes by Giacomo da Campli, works by Cola dell'Amatrice, Vincenzo Pagani, Crespi, Filippo and Ubaldo Ricci, as well as sketches and paintings by Francesco Coghetti and international artists such as Alexandre Calame and James Webb. The ground floor houses rooms dedicated to major modern artists, including Pericle Fazzini with thirty works, Remo Brindisi, Arnoldo Ciarrocchi, and Adolfo De Carolis. There are also numerous contributions by artists from the Marche region and contemporary artists. In the Ballroom, decorated with coffered ceilings, you can admire the collection of majolica and porcelain (over 300 pieces) and a terracotta by Gianfrancesco Gagliardelli. The Uno Gera Plaster Cast Gallery houses around one hundred works by the sculptor and patron, mostly portraits, while the Hall of 40 Artists for the Nativity Scene hosts works by artists such as Annigoni, Cagli, Guttuso, and Piacesi. The exhibition is completed by the Portrait Gallery (with portraits of bishops and local figures), the Historical-Ethnographic Museum with medieval artefacts, Risorgimento relics, costumes, weapons, and ethnographic curiosities. Furthermore, a specific section celebrates the Garibaldi Tradition with documents and relics. Today, Palazzo Bonomi-Gera is the heart of Ripatransone's museums, a place where art, memory, and culture intertwine, offering visitors a unique journey through the Marche region.
